GHOSTLINE END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
Last updated: August 26, 2026
This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between you ("User") and Raphael Collares Toselli, located in Vargem Grande Paulista, São Paulo, Brazil ("Licensor"), and governs your access to and use of Ghostline, including its updates, downloadable content, online features, and other content supplied for use with the game (collectively, the "Game").
By installing, accessing, or using the Game, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Game and request any applicable refund through the store from which you purchased it, subject to that store's procedures and deadlines.
1. Relationship with Steam
If you acquire or use the Game through Steam, your use of the platform, account, payments, refunds, Steam Cloud, Steam Workshop, and other Valve services is also subject to the Steam Subscriber Agreement and applicable Valve policies. This Agreement supplements those documents and governs the Game license. Valve's terms control matters concerning Steam's operation. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected in all cases.
2. License grant
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, the Licensor grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use the Game for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices and accounts authorized by the distribution platform.
Your purchase grants a license to use the Game and does not transfer ownership of its intellectual property. Commercial use in cybercafés or public venues, when offered, requires the appropriate Steam commercial package and program.
3. Intellectual property
The Game, including its code, story, characters, names, images, audio, interface, designs, databases, and associated materials, is owned by the Licensor or its respective licensors and is protected by applicable law. Third-party components remain subject to their respective licenses and notices supplied with the Game.
You may not sell, sublicense, redistribute, rent, or commercially exploit the Game; remove proprietary notices; or extract and reuse Game elements outside the Game, except with written authorization or where expressly permitted by law.
4. DLC, updates, and additional content
Downloadable content ("DLC") and expansions are additional licenses for use with the base Game and may require its installation, update, and valid ownership. The distribution platform processes prices, payments, and refunds.
The Licensor may patch, update, balance, or modify the Game for security, compatibility, accessibility, legal compliance, or service improvement. Material changes to online features will be communicated when reasonably practicable. Nothing in this section permits the removal of mandatory rights or paid content in violation of applicable law.
5. Community content
The Game may allow you to create, import, or publish maps, campaigns, text, and other material ("Community Content"). You retain any rights you hold in your Community Content and represent that you have permission to make all included material available.
When you submit Community Content to the Game's services, you grant the Licensor a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, technically adapt, distribute, display, and make that content available only as needed to operate, moderate, protect, and promote the Game and its community features.
You must not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, discriminatory, abusive, malicious, privacy-invasive, contains malware, or harms the Game or its users. The Licensor may reject, hide, or remove content for legal, technical, security, or moderation reasons. Steam Workshop rules also apply to content published through the Workshop.
6. Online services, replays, and leaderboards
Online features may include authentication, saved data, content sharing, run validation, and leaderboards. To protect competitive integrity, the Game may send actions and events from a run (a "replay") to the server and calculate the result and score authoritatively on the server, as described in the Privacy Policy.
The Licensor may invalidate or remove scores, restrict online features, or suspend Game accounts when there is reasonable evidence of fraud, automation, tampering, exploit abuse, or breach of this Agreement. Where appropriate, the User may request a review through the contact listed in Section 14.
The Licensor does not guarantee that online features will be uninterrupted or permanently available. Maintenance, security risks, technical changes, legal requirements, or service discontinuation may affect availability.
7. Prohibited conduct
You may not:
- falsify results, leaderboards, rewards, purchases, or access rights;
- use cheats, bots, macros, or automation to simulate performance or gain an advantage;
- circumvent authentication, integrity checks, security, content protection, or technical limits;
- attack, overload, interfere with, or gain unauthorized access to any service;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game except to the extent such a restriction is prohibited by law;
- use the Game to harass others or distribute unlawful content; or
- commercially exploit the Game or another person's Community Content without the required authorization.
Modifications created and used through the Game's authorized community features and tools do not, by themselves, violate this section.
8. Privacy and data
The processing of personal data related to the Game is described in the Privacy Policy available at: https://forgeworldstudios.net/privacy.
Steam and other service providers process data under their own privacy policies. This Agreement does not replace any applicable privacy notice.
9. Purchases and refunds
The store through which a transaction occurs administers purchases, taxes, payment methods, and refunds under its rules, without limiting rights provided by applicable law. The Licensor does not directly receive or store your complete payment details when Steam processes a purchase.
10. Warranties
The Game is supplied as made available, subject to all mandatory statutory warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, there is no warranty that the Game will be error-free, compatible with every hardware configuration, or available without interruption.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes any warranty, liability, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including rights under applicable consumer law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Licensor will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. Where liability may lawfully be limited, aggregate liability relating to the Game will not exceed the amount the User actually paid for the Game and related content during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply to fraud, gross negligence, personal injury, breach of mandatory consumer rights, or any other matter for which liability may not lawfully be limited.
12. Term and termination
This Agreement remains in effect while you use the Game. You may terminate it at any time by ceasing use and uninstalling the Game.
The Licensor may suspend online services or terminate this license for a material breach of this Agreement. Where the nature of the breach permits, a reasonable opportunity to cure or contest it will be provided. Immediate measures may be taken to contain fraud, security risks, unlawful conduct, or harm to others. Provisions which by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.
13. Governing law and venue
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. A consumer User may bring a claim in the courts of their place of residence and use all protections available under applicable law. Where no mandatory rule requires otherwise, the courts with jurisdiction over Vargem Grande Paulista, State of São Paulo, Brazil will have jurisdiction.
14. Contact

15. General provisions
If any provision of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect and the affected provision will be enforced to the greatest extent permitted by law. A failure to immediately enforce a right is not a waiver. The Licensor may not assign this Agreement in a way that reduces the User's mandatory rights without complying with applicable law.
Future changes to this Agreement will be published with a new revision date. New consent or appropriate notice will be provided where required by law or when a change is material.
